THE STARTING POINT
A firm transition changes more than payout. Compare the operating model, client experience, restrictions, total costs and the responsibilities your team will assume.
Compare the Work You Do Every Week
Ask firms to demonstrate the workflows your team uses: onboarding, planning, trading, reporting, compliance and service. Compare support for your client needs and business model. A broad product list says little about everyday operating fit.
Separate Recurring Economics from Incentives
Model payout after recurring charges, benefits, staffing, technology, office costs and debt service. Review upfront incentives, vesting, repayment provisions, restrictions and tax treatment independently with qualified professionals.
Plan a Responsible Transition
Review employment agreements, confidentiality duties, registration requirements and client communications with counsel and compliance. Do not assume every record can move with you. FINRA’s recruitment-related educational communication requirements may apply to customer transfers.

BEFORE THE NEXT STEP
Questions Worth Asking
A clear process begins with clear expectations.
Do you guarantee a recruiting offer?
No. Firms make their own decisions, and availability, terms, registrations and eligibility vary.
Can my entire team explore options?
Yes. Include team size, desired model and operational priorities in your inquiry without submitting employee or client records.
Will you contact my current firm?
The initial form is reviewed by the site team. Discuss the scope of any introduction and permitted sharing before proceeding.
